What do we do?
We aim to build this library into a Buddhist centre to further the proliferation of Buddhism not only throughout Korea, but also throughout the world. With this in mind we have set up 3 distinct departments to aid this process.
INTERNATIONAL BUDDHIST ENGLISH TEACHERS ASSOCIATION:
This is an educational department that trains lay Buddhists & Monks/Nuns to become Buddhist teachers & to gain presentation skills in conducting Buddhist lectures etc.
INSTITUTE OF BUDDHIST ENGLISH STUDIES:
This department is a research facility, which also provides commercial services in publishing & development such as writing & creating Buddhist textbooks, dictionaries etc as well as translation services.
B.E.L.S. SUPPORTERS
This very important arm of the organization provides the financial support & backing needed to help run the library & monastic individuals.

Donations of books: At the moment we currently have a few hundred titles that are available, but we hope to build up our collection over the coming years. The only way we can do this is via your generous donations which can be dropped of during business hours in the office or after hours in the drop of box out the front.
